What Makes Them Haute : Riley led the Miami Heat to its first NBA championship in 2006 as the team’s head coach. Now as its president, he was the force responsible for bringing some of the biggest names in the NBA to Miami, including Shaquille O’Neal, Alonzo Mourning, Chris Bosh and LeBron James. Riley’s NBA career spans 44 years, producing seven NBA championships. The third most winningest coach and an impressive list of accomplishments earned Riley a spot in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Pat’s wife, Chris Riley serves as a part of the Jackson Memorial Foundation Board for the Miami Heat Charitable Fund.
