WHAT MAKES THEM HAUTE: Miami Heat star Alonzo Mourning was the first player to have his number retired at the American Airlines Arena. He founded the Alonzo Mourning Charities, now called Mourning Family Foundation, over 15 years ago, which has since raised more than $7 million to benefit children and families, including the Overtown Youth Center. Tracy is a mentor, designer, broadcast journalist and motivational speaker. Her main focus is on the Honey Shine mentoring program. Together the couple also operates Zo’s Fund for Life, which seeks to raise $2 million for the research and testing for Focal Glomerulosclerosis, a rare kidney disease, which Alonzo was diagnosed with in 2001.
